Open from October-April, The Peanut Patch is a southwest tradition where folks gather to buy nuts and peanuts, homemade peanut brittle and peanut butter, fine chocolates and confections, snacks and candies, dried fruit and dates, and gourmet gifts including salsas, relishes, jams, syrups, preserves, olives, and more. They’re known for their homemade fudge, and for creating custom and themed gift baskets and gift tins.
If you’re in Yuma be sure to visit Donna for one of her free tours that happen at 10am on Tuesdays and Fridays in January, February, and March. Along with peanut fun facts, these tours showcase Yuma’s history of peanut farming and how peanuts grow. Plus, you can see how they make their homemade peanut brittle and enjoy a free fudge tasting at the end!
